Summit Dialogue Reaches Consensus: AI Application Needs "Step-by-Step" and "Strategic Penetration"

In the summit dialogue session, Li Chenlong, CIO of Digital China, along with Zhang Sen, Managing Partner of Technology Industry Consulting at Deloitte China, Huang Huihua, Chairman of Unisplendour Computer, and Liu Hongbo, Deputy General Manager of Digital Department of China Unicom Group, conducted in-depth discussions around the topic "Breaking the Game in AI Era: Challenges and Growth Strategies for Intelligent Manufacturing Enterprises." All parties agreed that enterprise AI application should take two steps: first, optimize existing processes through AI to improve efficiency and automation levels; then, use AI to reconstruct or create new processes to achieve intelligent replacement of key links. In this process, enterprises need to break departmental barriers, promote end-to-end process changes centered on customers, and elevate digitalization to a strategic height through top-level design.

"AI for Process": Reconstructing Enterprise Full Processes with AI

In his sharing, Li Chenlong quoted the viewpoint of Guo Wei, Chairman of Digital China, sharing that the underlying logic of enterprise development stems from mutual influence and dynamic evolution of three core elements: business model, management method, and technical paradigm, while process is the intersection of these three.

Currently, most enterprise AI stays at single-point applications and has not achieved reconstruction and reengineering at the process level. "AI for Process" aims at this, reconstructing various levels of enterprise production and operation, prompting enterprises to re-examine and optimize traditional business models and business processes. Based on the "Twin-Drive (TD)" model proposed by Digital China, "AI for Process" supports enterprises to reshape business processes from dual perspectives of strategy and business needs, combining capability matrices provided by AI models to precisely define structured, landable AI scenarios.

Practice Leading: Multi-party Joining Hands to Build Industry Digital Intelligence Guide

With leading digital management practices, Digital China has been selected for the China Best Managed Companies (BMC) list for two consecutive years. To further promote industry digital intelligence transformation, Digital China reached deep cooperation with Deloitte China to jointly launch AI Factory series theme workshops, helping enterprises explore AI landing practices.

In addition, Digital China also joined hands with Deloitte China and CAICT to release the "AI for Process Enterprise-level Process Digital Intelligence Transformation" blue book, providing industry customers with a full-cycle guide from strategy to landing, helping enterprises break through AI landing bottlenecks.

Looking forward, Digital China will continue to deepen cooperation with Deloitte China, promote implementation of "AI for Process" in more scenarios and industries, and jointly empower global enterprises to move towards a new stage of process digital intelligence.
